Our Chiropractic Techniques
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our clinical judgment and years of experience.

Think of an adjustment as “tuning” a piano, adjusting each string so it produces the perfect tone.
The primary adjusting techniques we use include:
Diversified
After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust is applied to free up “stuck” spinal joints. read more»
Activator Methods®
This is a system of spinal evaluation combined with a handheld adjusting instrument that delivers a consistent, low-force thrust. read more»
SOT
Sacro Occipital Technique helps normalize the relationship between the pelvis and the head, using gravity to make the necessary correction. read more»
Electrical Muscle Stimulation
Also known as EMS, Electrical Muscle Stimulation is a form of electro therapy that uses a special type of electrical current to stimulate specific muscles. read more»
Impulse
We use a small hand-held adjusting instrument called the Impulse. This instrument offers many advantages for our patients. read more»
Intersegmental Traction
When your posture and mobility are compromised, some muscles along your spine tighten while others become weak and fatigued. With time, affected muscles and ligaments make spinal correction more difficult. read more»
Laser
When patients learn that we use laser therapy in our practice, they have visions of a powerful, steel-cutting beam of light. The “cold” laser we use has only a tiny fraction of the power. Instead, its value comes from the frequency of the light it emits, not its intensity. read more»
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a hands-on, whole-body approach for the evaluation and treatment of pain and the restoration of motion. This involves muscles and the connective tissue (fascia) that holds your entire body together. read more»
